Position Overview
BL Publishing is seeking experienced outbound B2B phone sales professionals to sell sponsorship advertising space for charity program publications. This is a performance-driven, remote sales role requiring consistent cold calling, objection handling, and timely closing.
This position is ideal for motivated sales professionals who are comfortable working independently and thrive in a high-activity environment. We seek Sales Reps and two promotable Sales Pros interested in advancement into Sales Management on a six-to-nine-month advancement plan.
Work Schedule
West Coast Business Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM PT
Full-Time: 8-hour selling day
Part-Time: 3–4-hour daily commitment preferred

Conduct high-volume outbound B2B cold calls selling ad space in a printed program (bulletin)

BL Publishing sells sponsorship advertising space for charitable fundraising publications. Candidates with fundraising or non-profit sales experience are encouraged to apply. Qualified sales professionals are provided with proven tools, scripts, and historical analytics designed to support production of 30+ ad sales per month.
Compensation Plans & Sales Roles
Plan 1: Independent Sales Professional (1099) – 30% commission on all new sales, payroll periods the 3rd and 18th of each month. An Accelerated Pay is available, pay per sale, within three business days or less after deal closes.

After 4 to 6 weeks, one can qualify to become a company employee with a guaranteed monthly salary of $2,000, plus sales commissions, monthly, quarterly, annual and longevity bonus plans.

No call minimums during probation, however, analytics are provided to assist reaching goals.
Special Deferred Signing Bonus Plan (available through the first quarter 2026)
Based on sales closed during the first 90 days of engagement, bonuses available are:

$25,000 = $500 Deferred signing bonus

$30,000 = $750 Deferred signing bonus

$35,000 = $1,000 Deferred signing bonus

$40,000 = $2,500 Deferred signing bonus

$45,000 = $3,000 Deferred signing bonus

$50,000 = $4,000 Deferred signing bonus

$55,000 =.035 for every dollar over $55,000 plus the $4,000 earned at the $50,000 to $55,000 level
Plan 2: Employee Sales Professional (W-2) also 1099 Contract Guarantees Available
Eligibility:

Demonstrated 4 consecutive weeks selling $8,000 or greater per week to be eligible

Top performers selling approximately two ads per day typically exceed $80,000 annually, with the opportunity to reach $100,000+ after year one through renewals and retention.

$1,600 monthly contractual base ($80 per day)

Minimum of 2 years B2B phone sales experience required
120 outbound calls per day
$2,000 monthly contractual base ($100 per day)

Growth Opportunities (sales managers)- We seek two promotable Sales Pros interested in advancement into Sales Management on a six-to-nine-month advancement plan. This will include a longevity bonus plan to receive a future stake from the business production and revenue.
